Policies of National Urban Housing & Habitat

• The National Urban Housing and Habitat Policy 2007 seeks to support various public-private organizations to fulfill the objective of “affordable housing for all”. It especially emphasizes the urban underprivileged and the urban poor living in urban areas. does.

The National Urban Housing and Habitat Policy, 2007 focuses on several stakeholders especially the private sector, the cooperative sector, the industrial sector for labor quarters, and the service sector for domestic residence. 

• The origin of the National Housing Policy is a continuous process that started in 1986. The policy was amended in 1998 but now there are many changes in environmental and human disposal concerns. • The focus of the policy is to provide affordable urban housing with special importance to the urban poor.
