Import and export play an important role in the income of India. Imported and exported products have to pass through customs. Customs officers are required to check safe and secure trade without any corruption. Thus when items go through this process for import clearance, they need to comply with certain rules and obligations.
The Complete Process For The Import Clearance:
- All referring records are required for import clearance before the shipment of your products and goods. Important certificates required are – Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, Business Invoice, Consignment List, Cargo Arrival Notice, Shipping Receipt, Possession Order, and other special documents for your property.
- Trace the arrival of cargo accurately, as you need customs to clear cargo as soon as possible upon shipment. Conversely, you will have to pay late duty charges to the authorities of the Import Administration.
- Limited quantities of two or three days are accepted by the Import Administration authorities independent of the cost time period. You can usually play customs traditions at this time. It is necessary to submit all requested documents with Customs.
