The Social Welfare Department of Karnataka is offering incentives under this scheme to Simple Married Couples from the SC Community who have applied within a year of getting married. The incentive, which has a value of Rs. 50,000.00, is only available to married couples who tied the knot on or after August 11, 2015.

Qualifications

Exclusions

  • Time Limit The program is only available for use one year after marriage. Couples are not eligible for the incentive if they apply after this deadline.
  • Incomplete Documentation Couples are not eligible for the incentive if they do not submit all of the necessary paperwork with their application.
  • Date of Marriage The incentive is only available to couples who were married on or after August 11, 2015. This date is the cutoff point for eligibility for the scheme for married couples.

Procedure for Applications

  • Go to the Social Welfare Department of Karnataka’s official website.
  • From the homepage, select the “Incentive for Simple Marriage” link
  • Before applying, carefully review the eligibility requirements and guidelines.
  • To continue with the application, click the “Apply Online” button.
  • Complete the application form by providing all required information, including your details, income, and marital status.
  • Upload the necessary files, including your mobile number, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, caste certificate, income certificate, marriage registration certificate, and marriage photo.
  • Check the application form to make sure all the information is correct.
  • To finish the application process, click the “Submit” button.
  • The couple will receive an SMS following submission, and they can print the acknowledgment form as documentation of their application.
  • To confirm the information submitted by the couple and move the application along, Social Welfare will conduct document verification.
  • The incentive will be credited to the couple’s joint bank account upon approval of the application.

  • RD Total Number of RD Caste Certificates
  • The number of income certificates
  • A duplicate of the bank passbook

  • An official certificate of mass marriage, if applicable
