Can a creditor legally lock a debtor's house for non-payment?

Is a person authorized by law to place a lock on the dwelling house of a debtor for non-payment of a loan taken on that property? If such a situation arises, how can I get the lock placed by my creditor removed from my dwelling house?

Sir, creditor cannot legally place a lock on your dwelling without a court order or valid mortgage agreement. If this happens, you can file a police complaint for unlawful action. You may also approach a civil court to seek an injunction to remove the lock. It is advisable to consult an expert lawyer to understand your legal rights and options.
