In this situation, the victim girl has grounds to take legal action against her ex for uploading the video without her consent. Under Indian law, particularly the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, consent is crucial for sharing any personal content. The unauthorized sharing of intimate videos can constitute a violation of privacy and may lead to criminal charges against the ex.The victim should consider filing a complaint with the police regarding the unauthorized sharing and potential harassment. Additionally, she may pursue civil remedies for defamation and emotional distress. Consulting with a lawyer experienced in cyber law and personal rights will help her navigate this process effectively.
