If I die intestate, will my wife get all assets?

I have a wife, two minor kids, and one married sister. If I die intestate, will my wife get 100% of my assets (all self-acquired)? My mother is no longer alive. Can my sister, who is a Class 2 heir, claim my mother’s share (the share she would have received if alive)?

If you die intestate, your wife will inherit your self-acquired assets. Since you have no will, your wife will receive 100% of the assets. Regarding your sister, she cannot claim your mother's share if she is not an heir, as your wife is the primary heir under Indian law.
