Society keeping a curfew on PGs and flats with single women.

The title sums it up. I live in Andheri East. Ever since that horrific case in Delhi where the woman was chopped up by her boyfriend, my society has decided to stop letting single women in post 12am. This is not a part of the contract we signed, and to me it sounds ridiculous because we are all women in our 20s who work long hours and pay for our rent. We don't cause problems for anyone in the society, but I have heard through the grapevine that they think we are all s**ts for some odd reason. It's not like we bring men in ever. We just mind our own business and abide by the rules. It has gotten so bad that even girls that live with their own families in this society aren't being allowed in post 12am. I was thinking of approaching the chairman because this is getting out of hand. What should I do? Is the law on my side?

Hello mam,

if such kind of the situtation is arirsing you should aaporach to the High court and file a writ petition as this seems to be the violation of the Fundamental Rights of the women and also if there is no such agrrements between you and the society you can also complain before the  revenue court for the same.
