Can I file a case if no refund policy exists?

I paid ₹5000 for my online training and decided to cancel within a day. I didn’t sign any refund policy, but they mentioned a no-refund policy through message. Can I file a case in consumer court?

If no refund policy was signed, and the company refuses to refund, you may file a complaint in consumer court under the Consumer Protection Act. You can claim a refund for the service you did not avail, provided the transaction was within a reasonable time and your cancellation was immediate.
