How can I legally recover my money?

I have paid a total amount of ₹71,184 to Chola Mandalam Finance, but the same day, an additional ₹5,932 was deducted from my account. What steps should I take to recover the deducted amount?

First, you should contact Chola Mandalam Finance and raise a formal complaint and provide the transaction details and request a refund of the wrongly deducted ₹5,932. If they do not respond or refuse to refund the amount, send a legal notice demanding repayment. If the issue is still not resolved, you can file a complaint with the RBI Banking Ombudsman under the grievance redressal mechanism. As a final step, you may approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to claim a refund and compensation for wrongful deduction and deficiency in service.

First of all you should visit the branch and try to get the information regarding the extra amount deducted and if they don't reply then send a legal notice for the deductible amount .
