In whose name should I file the appeal in Consumer Forum?

A decision was made by the District Consumer Forum, but we are not satisfied with it and wish to file an appeal in the State Consumer Forum. The flat booking was done in my wife’s name in 2014, while the flat registration took place in my name in 2015, and the flat was handed over to us in 2019. The Consumer Forum passed an order in 2025 in favor of wife, but it did not consider the interest for the intervening years. We are unsure whether the appeal should be filed in wife’s name, as the booking was in her name, or in my name, as the flat is registered in my name. We are concerned about potential legal complications due to the discrepancy in the names (the booking is in wife name, and the registration is in mine). Hence, the question is: In whose name should the appeal be filed?
