Can sharing a newspaper's report photo lead to IPC Section 500?
Is sharing a news paper's report( news) 's picture of any individual comes under section 500 of IPC? Two persons was caught by police when they were drinking whiskey in public place and were disturbing public. A news paper report this matter in its newspaper. A person take a pic of that news and send it to other persons( without any comment). Person who was caught by police file a case under sec 500 of IPC, on the person who share pic of that news to other people. Saying it was a MV act case. What is law's position. Can he held guilty?
