What should I do after a false accusation?

In January 2018, in Kalyan, Maharashtra, I was 18 years old when I was accused under Section 307 in a fake case. The government charged us, and 10 people were arrested, including 3 female students, 2 male students, 4 housewives, and 1 adult male. Another 98 people were mentioned in the chargesheet. After completing my education in 2020, I started working with an MNC, but due to COVID, the background check wasn’t conducted. In 2022, the company asked me to send documents, and fearing termination, I resigned. Now, I’m planning to do an MBA, but the course fees are high, and I’m concerned about my future. Will I get a job after completing my MBA, since many companies check if I have been convicted or accused? What if I don’t get a job and I have to repay my loan?

If you were falsely accused, it is important to gather strong evidence, including witness testimonies and any documentation proving your innocence. Since you were acquitted in 2020, focus on explaining the case to employers and providing documentation of your acquittal. Completing your MBA may still lead to job opportunities.
