What to do if someone faked blackmail and accused me?

One year ago, my ex texted me saying someone was blackmailing her using our personal photos, and that she had resolved it by meeting a friend. After 6–7 months, I asked that friend about it, but he denied meeting her. Later, I contacted another friend, who also told me she was blackmailed—but now my ex claims it was all done through a fake ID. I enquired with her friends and family to try to get the photos deleted from the blackmailer. Now, she has filed a complaint against me for contacting her friends and “spreading lies.” The police counselled me and advised me not to contact her family again. She now says the entire blackmail story was fake. However, I have chat records going back 6–7 months, and I have never lied. Should I file a cyber complaint for blackmail and also mention the false accusations? It has been a year, and she has mentally harassed me by lying to both my family and the police.
