Can I be terminated without notice and pending salary?

I was terminated from my services without any prior intimation or notice. I worked in the organization for around 8 years and held the position of CFO (KMP) for the past 4 years. The company went into NCLT, and a new management took over. After 9 months, they terminated me without mentioning any reason in my appointment letter. Additionally, my salary for the past 2 months, along with my full and final settlement, is pending to be disbursed. Kindly advice on any actions I can take.

If you were terminated without notice and your salary is pending, you can file a claim under labour laws or approach the NCLT since the company underwent insolvency. As a CFO (KMP), you may also have rights under your employment contract and company policies. Send a legal notice to the company demanding your dues, and if unpaid, file a claim with the labour commissioner or initiate legal action. Consulting a lawyer for specific remedies under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) would be advisable.

Sir, firstly you should review your employment contract and appointment letter and if it is found that the act of a company is unethical then you may consider sending a legal notice with the help of an expert lawyer who will assist you to file a complaint to labour authorities.
