Can I claim maternity leave if I have not completed 80 days?

Hello, I am currently in my 6th month of pregnancy and need to take maternity leave from my office. Initially, I was informed that the maternity leave policy was applicable, but now it has been denied. I joined the company on December 11, 2023, and have been working continuously since then. However, the company now states that I am not eligible for maternity leave because I have not completed 80 days of service. Please advise on how to address this issue.
