Yes, you can take legal action if you have been illegally terminated. First, check your employment contract and company policies for termination rules. You can file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner (if a worker) or approach the civil court or labour tribunal for compensation or reinstatement. If unfair termination violates labour laws, you may also claim damages.

As there are various situations under which an employee if terminated from his job leads to the unlawful termination , in such cases an employee can move to tribunal under Industrial Relation Code ,2020 in case of unlawful termination and you can take the help of legal counsel in this matter regarding the arrears in wages and other remuneration .
