How to respond to wrongful termination for alleged abusive language?

My company has terminated me, stating: "This letter is to formally inform you that your employment with the company is being terminated effective immediately due to a pattern of unacceptable behavior. Specifically, your use of abusive language during meetings is not in line with our company values and code of conduct. Such behavior is taken very seriously, and we believe it is necessary to take this action to uphold our standards. Please ensure that you return all company property in your possession. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and thank you for your time with us." I did not abuse anyone; I was talking to my friend, and somehow the phone was unmuted. I accept that I used strong language, but I did not abuse anyone personally.

If you have been wrongfully terminated for alleged abusive language, you can send a written reply to the company explaining that you did not abuse anyone and it was an accidental unmuting of the call while speaking to a friend. You can request the company to review their decision and give you a chance to explain in person. If they do not respond or refuse, you can send a legal notice through a lawyer for wrongful termination. You may also approach the labour court or appropriate tribunal to challenge the termination and claim compensation or reinstatement.

If you did not personally abuse anyone, your termination seems unfair, and you can challenge it. First, check your employment contract and company policies to see if they followed the correct procedure. You should write to HR explaining that your words were not directed at anyone and ask them to review the decision. If they refuse, you can file a legal complaint and to understand how you can use legal assistance for wrongful termination.

If you believe the termination is unjust, you can challenge it by explaining the situation to your employer or filing a complaint with the labor authorities. Provide evidence of the conversation and clarify the misunderstanding regarding the unmuted phone. You may also seek legal advice or explore options for wrongful termination or compensation claims.
