What can I do if I didn't get a promised promotion?

Last year, I withdrew my resignation after my manager offered a salary hike and promotion effective from April 2022. However, the company later froze the entire promotion cycle, and despite assurances from my manager, my name was not included in the promotion list when it was eventually announced. I contacted top-level managers, but my issue remains unresolved. Feeling demotivated, I requested release from the project, which was granted. Considering the circumstances, I am contemplating filing a case. What are the prospects of winning such a case? One thing I forgot to mention I got salary hike only promotion is pending

- Given your situation, you may have a valid case regarding the promotion issue. Since your manager offered you a promotion that was later frozen, and you received a salary hike, you can argue that the company did not fulfill its commitment. However, winning a case depends on the specific terms of your employment contract and company policies. Document all communications and assurances from management. Consulting with a legal professional will help assess your chances and guide you on the best course of action to take.

If your manager's offer of a promotion in exchange for withdrawing your resignation was documented in any way, such as an email or a formal agreement, it could be considered a breach of contract and You can sue them, for further details contact us on our helpline number.
