What legal action can be taken against illegal termination?

My company terminated me without notice or a termination letter. The reason for termination was that I had gone on leave for 23 days due to the death of my father-in-law.

If your termination was without notice or a valid reason, you can challenge it under labour laws. You may file a complaint with the labour commissioner or approach a court for wrongful termination, seeking reinstatement or compensation. Review your employment contract and company policies to check for violations. Consulting a labour lawyer can help you take the right legal action.

If your company terminated you without notice or a termination letter, it may be illegal, depending on your employment contract and labour laws. You can file a complaint with the labour court or the relevant labour department for wrongful termination and claim compensation or reinstatement. If your leave was approved or covered under legal provisions like bereavement leave, you may have a stronger case. Consulting a lawyer can help you understand your rights and take appropriate legal action.
