How can I retrieve my friend’s bike after police seizure?

Sir, my friend's bike was seized. I was riding it and he was with me. I provided my license, but they still seized the bike without issuing a challan and parked it near a chowk. We have a video showing that we parked it properly. The next day, when we went to the police station, we were told that the bike had been categorized as abandoned. It has been 10 days, and we have been visiting the station daily. When I called the officer who seized the bike, they told me that if the papers are in order, I can get the bike back. Please help; this is causing a lot of problems.
