Can we marry safely without parent's consent?

I want to do court marriage but our caste is different and parents never allow us to get married. We both are from chatra Jharkhand and we want to get married without knowing our parents and without any notice. What to do in that situation. Can we get married safely or not? If we can then what will be the process?

By that you can also get married without the parental consent. It can be done under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 in Chatra, Jharkhand. This is a legal procedure; one doesn't need to get parental consent for it. Firstly, both the partners need to visit the local Marriage Registrar's office to submit their Notice of Intended Marriage, and they have to bring all the documents with them, including the proof of their age and identity. There will be a notice displayed in the public domain for 30 days to accommodate objections. If no objections exist, then you are free to marry; and a marriage certificate will come out, assuring legal protection for your union.

Sir, if both the partners are of legal age to get marry with proper consent then you can perform court marriage under Special Marriage Act by visiting marriage registrar office. If you are concerned about your safety you may seek restraining order with the help of an expert lawyer who will assist you in understanding your legal rights.
