To perform a court marriage in India, both of the partners have to give notice in writing to get married in the marriage registrar's office in a state where either one of them has been resident for at least 30 days. They are expected to present age proof, identity proof, and photographs. After a waiting period of 30 days, unless and until any objections are made, the couple can marry in the presence of a marriage registrar and three witnesses.

If both the partners are of legal age to get married then you may perform court marriage under an appropriate act by visiting marriage registrar office. The required documents are proof of age and residence, passport sized photographs and an affidavit. It is advised to consult an exert lawyer who will assist you with the smooth procedure of court marriage. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
