Since you have legally converted to Hinduism with proper documentation (notification of conversion), you can marry under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, just like any other Hindu citizen. For court marriage, you'll need basic documents like age proof, residence proof, conversion certificate/notification, photographs, ID proofs of both parties and witnesses, and if it's a religious ceremony, you can follow standard Hindu marriage rituals with registration afterward. However, it's advisable to keep your conversion certificate handy as additional proof to avoid any complications during registration.

In order to complete the court marriage in the Delhi, the applicants must fulfill the criteria as laid under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. Both the parties must be able to make their own ground decisions, that is, 21 years (groom) and 18 years (bride) should be their respective ages. Endowed documents with applications to Marriage Registrar, which also includes age proof, address proof, passport-sized photos, affidavits regarding marital status religion and intention, and religion conversion certificate, must also be presented. Subsequently, notice of intended marriage will be published with provision of objections within the period of 30 days. If no objections come up, marriage will be solemnized in the office of Registrar along with three witnesses.

Sir, if both the partners are of legal age to get married with proper consent then you should perform court marriage under Hindu Marriage Act by visiting marriage registrar office. The required documents are proof of age and residence, passport sized photographs and an affidavit. It is advised to consult an expert matrimonial lawyer who will assist you with further procedure of marriage. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
