What steps to bring foreign-born kids to India?

Sir, I am from Himachal Pradesh and currently working in Malaysia. I am married to an Indonesian woman. We have a marriage certificate issued by the Panchayat level, but it is not registered with the embassy due to lack of knowledge. We have two children, aged 6 and 5. I want to bring my children to India. What is the procedure?

You can bring your children to India by applying for their visas. First, try to register your marriage at the Indian Embassy. Then get the kids’ birth certificates and apply for dependent or long-term visas. Registration helps in legal matters, but it is still possible without it, with proper documents.
