What should I do if my tenant is not vacating the property despite notice?

I own property in Dwarka, New Delhi, which I have leased for 33 months from 15-03-2023 to 15-12-2025. Our lease agreement includes a termination clause with one month’s notice, but the tenant is not vacating after I served the notice. We also have a clause on peaceful vacation after the tenancy period expires. I have questions regarding this situation and am looking for expert legal advice. When I try to consult a lawyer on your website, there is no option to specify the area of expertise. I’m also unable to contact your 'Call Us' number. I may consider an in-person consultation at your Delhi office. Please guide me.

You can send a legal notice to the tenant for peaceful vacation. If they refuse, file an eviction suit under the Rent Control Act in the local court. If needed, seek legal advice from a property lawyer for proper documentation and representation. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
