If the Patwari claims there is no vacant space in the khasra despite your ownership, take legal steps immediately. First, obtain certified copies of land records (Jamabandi, khasra map) to verify your rightful claim. File a written application with the Tehsildar requesting mutation, attaching ownership proof like sale deed or inheritance documents. If denied, escalate the matter to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) or Revenue Commissioner. You may also file a writ petition in the High Court for rightful mutation. Engage a lawyer to ensure legal compliance and prevent any fraudulent land misappropriation. Stay persistent and follow due process.

If the Patwari says that there is no vacant space in the khasra for your property mutation then you should check the land records for any errors. You can reapply for mutation through the revenue office. If the issue continues, approach the SDM or Revenue Officer for help. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assist you with the best course of action. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
