TRADEMARK

 The term Trademark refers to a recognizable sign, phrase, word, or symbol that denotes a specific product and it legally differentiates from all other products of the same kind. A trademark  when registered online exclusively identifies a product as belonging to a specific company and recognizes the company's ownership of the brand.
 

An application must be submitted in the form TM-A to the Trademarks Registry in order to register that trademark. The prescribed fees must also be paid. It is always advisable to keep checking the status of the trademark because there are instances when the applicant may have to act upon the same to ensure the trademark gets registered soon.
