When both the act aided and the additional act committed constitute an offense, Section 112 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) addresses the repercussions of abetment. This clause basically states that if someone aids or encourages another person to commit a crime and, in the process, another crime with a harsher penalty is committed, the abettor will also be held accountable for the harsher penalty.

Sec 112 talks about abetment i.e. If the act for which the abettor is liable under the last preceding section is committed in addition to the act abetted, and constitute a distinct offence, the abettor is liable to punishment for each of the offences. If arrest is not made, you can apply for anticipatory bail.
