What can I do if a company is not giving variable pay?
Hello, I joined an Organization on 15th November of 2022 and after completing it on 15th November 2023, company didn't pay my variable and asked to wait thill January of 2024. I got demotivated and start to show a casual behavior regarding work, hence company put me on PIP(Performance improvement plan). And now they are saying we will not give your variable amount which was 80k. So, is this legal?
Review your employment contract and specifically the clause regarding variable pay. Before taking legal action, attempt to negotiate with the company directly.
