What can I do if my employer is not giving me gratuity?
I had worked for more than seven years in an private engineering college of Delhi. I left the job in December 2022. College is not releasing my gratuity. Please advise me the most appropriate action.

You can file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner's Office. The Labour Commissioner will investigate the complaint and try to resolve the matter through conciliation.If the conciliation process fails, you can file a case in the Labour Court. The Labour Court will decide the case and order the college to pay you your gratuity. Contact us on our helpline number.
