What legal steps can be taken against illegal termination?

Hi, in my offer letter no notice period was mentioned and I was on probation period. It was ending on 3 Sep and 7 the Sep I told I don’t want to convert to a full time role post which a notice period of 2 months was stated to me. I don’t know my rights. I told them later in a week I want to resign. The notice period was still enforced and then suddenly in 2 days they sent me termination letter for a false case. It is a startup. I don’t know what to do. New company wants relieving letter. The company I am terminated from has not shared experience letter and relieving letter.

To address your situation, start by reviewing your offer letter and formally request your experience and relieving letters, emphasizing your entitlement to these documents due to your probation status. Consult a labor lawyer for advice on the legality of your termination and potential compensation. If the company continues to withhold your letters, consider filing a complaint with the local labor department. Communicate with your new employer about your situation, as they may be understanding.

Sir, firstly you should review your offer letter properly for clauses related to probation, notice, or termination and if it is found that termination was illegal then you can consider sending legal notice to the company with the help of an expert lawyer who will assist you with the best course of action.
