Given money to a friend but he is not returning
I have given him by UPI. I have the WhatsApp chats where he said multiple times he will return in 2-3 days but till now he hasn't and I think he has no interest in returning my money. I have his bank details and mobile number but don't have his address. Can I file a Summer suit under CPC on him. If yes then what steps required to file the case?
You should issue a Legal Notice to the person first and it can be served via WhatsApp also, you do not need his address. If money is not paid by him even after that, then you may file a suit for recovery of money.

if you have the details of the transactions and the whatssapp chats then, the first step you should take is that send the legal notice to the person for the recovery of the money and if money is not returned then file a suit against him.
