How can I legally recover my money?

I gave Rs. 130,000 to someone for providing me a job, as he promised. He has a job consultancy business, but he has not provided me with any job and is not returning my money. He keeps delaying the date and never picks up my calls or replies to my messages. I don't know what to do?

Start with noting all the evidence of payment, communication, and promises from the consultancy. Then draft and send a legal notice to get back the amount within a time frame; most of the time, they respond to that. If no response still comes out, then you can file a complaint at the police station about fraud/cheating. And if necessary, approach the consumer court to recover the amount against consultancy's failure on the promise done. It will be advisable to take a lawyer at all the steps of procedure.
