How do I recover money from a contractor in India?
Had given an advance cheque to a contractor but he did not do any work .after removing him from the job I am asking for my money back and he is not giving me.

Get a legal notice drafted against that person to get your money recovered nad if he don't return the money then you can file summary suit against that person,
