How to recover money from a person refusing to pay up?

I gave a boy 29000 rupees via Phone Pe. He pretended that there was some medical emergency, and then he asked for the money. I am working in company and pursuing my bachelor's at the same time. So he actually took a lot of money from many people in my organization, and then there was some action from the company, and he was expelled from the organization. I have a lot of proof that shows that he received the amount and He'll give it to me in some time. I have transaction numbers as well. Will I be able to get my money back?
