Is it compulsory to authenticate the debt in NeSL?

Dear Sir / Madam, Have been receiving emails from National E Governance Services Ltd (NESL)asking me to authenticate debt for a loan taken with one of the banks. The EMI's are still being paid by me but there was a disagreement on the duration of moratorium in the past where the bank says the moratorium was for 3 months whereas it was told to me it is for six. I have a long list of follow up emails from my side trying to resolve the issue. Just want to know if it is mandatory to authenticate the debt as intimated by NESL. Also, a line in the email says : failure to authenticate the same will lead to being included under Regulation 21 of IBBI. Kindly advice please. Thanks

Issue a Legal Notice narrating the facts from the begining to the concern. If they continue to harass you file a writ petition impleding officials as parties.
