Hello Sir- Namaste I would much appreciate if you could kindly clarify if the following is the right approach: a person living abroad lends money to someone in India and the money is not returned on time by the borrower - can a police complaint be filed via https://eservices.tnpolice.gov.in/CCTNSNICSDC/ComplaintRegistrationPage?0 What happens once a complaint is filed? And after a complaint is filed, if the person who borrowed the money returns the money, can the complaint be withdrawn?

If the person have proof of lending money then you can send a legal notice and if he denies to pay you can further approach to the lower court for the recovery of money
