What can I do if a person from whom I have taken loan bothers me?

Sir, 5 years ago I took loan from a person and I've been giving interest upon interest and they are refusing to take the principal amount which resulting in never ending loan. Actually after counting I have paid 2x the amount I took from them. Is their any law in which I can stop paying them and nothing happens or do I have to pay them till I die? Please help
