What can I do if my client doesn't pay after service provided?

We are providing online services regarding e-commerce, web development, graphic designing etc. A client came to us regarding a particular service on payment after work basis. We solved their query and this was the time for payment, But after the service completed, they are not responding our calls and messages neither they have paid the charges. We are hopeless because it's our startup and we are not a very big giant company. This little amount means a lot for us.

  1. Send a polite reminder email. State the amount that is owed and the due date. You may also want to include a copy of the contract or invoice.
  2. Follow up with a phone call. If the client does not respond to your email, give them a call. Try to speak to a decision-maker at the company.
  3. Send a legal notice. If the client still does not respond, you may need to send them a legal notice. This is a notice that states the amount that is owed and the consequences of non-payment. You may want to have an attorney review the letter before you send it.
