The primary document required is your marriage certificate, which validates the name change. Additionally, you'll need to submit other documents to prove your identity and residence, like a passport, voter ID, utility bills, or a driver's license. Make sure you have both the original and photocopies of these documents when visiting the Aadhaar Enrollment or Update Center or applying online.

You will not be able to change your child's surname in Aadhaar without the consent of your child's father. If you do not have your child's father's consent, you will need to file a petition with the court. Contact us on helpline number for expert opinion.
