What is the meaning of given text?
I have copied this text from NALSA website- "If the parties are not satisfied with the award of the Lok Adalat though there is no provision for an appeal against such an award, but they are free to initiate litigation by approaching the court of appropriate jurisdiction by filing a case by following the required procedure, in exercise of their right to litigate." What does it mean?
This Statement means that while the decision of a Lok Adalat is considered final and binding, parties who are not satisfied with the outcome still have the option to pursue the matter through the regular court system. However, they cannot directly appeal against the Lok Adalat's decision; instead, they must initiate a fresh case in the appropriate court. Contact us for further enquiry.
