Can written statement be filed at any time?
I received a notice, a month ago from the High Court regarding quashing FIR, I just want to ask do we need to get permission to file our written statement as there is an unexpected delay. Generally, can we file our statements directly on how long the permission takes to file our statement from the court ? The accused is charged with 420, 417, 34 if IPC , PLS COMMENT?
If there is any unexpected reasonable day, such reason can be excusable by the high court. You don’t need permission to file written statement. You have to submit the written statement as soon as possible. If you are beyond the time limit which is 120 days. Then you have to submit with reasonable explanation. You can contact Lead India on our toll-free number to discuss with us in details and for the expert solutions, ensuring satisfaction through effective legal counsel and problem-solving by experienced advocates.
The time it takes for the court to grant permission to file a written statement can vary. In some cases, the court may grant permission immediately. In other cases, the court may need more time to consider the matter. Contact us for further enquiry.
