Child sexual abuse litigation several years after abuse
I am a victim of child sexual abuse. It was by a family member and occurred between 2006-2011 (when I was 13 to 17 years of age). Now I am 28, and recently realised that under POCSO act I can take legal action against him. I am a doctor myself now. I also have some text messages between myself and my abuser with me accusing him of abuse and him agreeing that he did abuse me. It is also non penetrative assault - to add details. Is there a change that I can legally proceed against him and is there a chance to obtain justice?
