A complaint may be filed everywhere, as cybercrimes don’t have any jurisdiction. As per the ARDC (attorney Registration and Disciplinary commission), you can actually approach three places in any city to complain about a suspect: Cyber cells: They’ve been set up in particular to cope with cybercrime victims.

They may be below the jurisdiction of the police branch’s criminal investigation department. you can sign up an F.I.R. at a local police station if a cyber cell isn't always available where you live. you could approach the police commissioner if you are unable to report an F.I.R.

An F.I.R. need to be registered with a police station. national commission for women: The is a non-profit organisation that assists sufferers of internet abuse in coping with law enforcement. to speed up the investigation, the commission has the authority to appoint an inquiry committee with the authority to adopt spot investigations, collect proof, query witnesses, and summon the accused.

Reporting on social media websites: Reporting on social media web sites is an option if each of the above options are tough to do for some thing reason. maximum of these websites have the choice of reporting the crime on account that they're required through the IT rules of 2011 to do so inside 36 hours of receiving the facts to prevent the spread of objectionable substances. file a grievance with the Cyber Crime division (CCD) of the criminal investigation department, you can also complain on cyber cell official website or tell your sister to complain on women helpline and cyber cell and report complain to nearest police station.
