I had complained to Thane (Maharashtra) Municipal Corporation about Illegal Constructions and / or Extensions, predominantly done by Office-Bearers in Our Co-Operative Housing-Society. In Retaliation, under the disguise of Major Repairs, My Flat has been severely damaged. Contractor, being a Son of Police-Officer, has entered My Flat, and video-shot Me and My Wife, and intimidated us. Local-Police refused to take Any Action against The Miscreants, who have the Support of Local Corporator. Due To Service, I am staying in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). Can I File The Criminal Complaint? If So, Where, Thane or Jabalpur? What is The Procedure? I Do Not Want To Hire a Lawyer, since I am a Law-Graduate, and pursuing Masters in Law, Currently.
You are able to file Civil and Criminal Case only at Thane, because the alleged incidents took place at Thane and Flat is also situated at Thane. If the police refused to take written complaint then post it through Registered post addressing copy to Superintendent of Police. Even if no action is taken, then file a private complaint before court of law. To get the crime registered through court of law, it takes lot of time. So, first approach Civil Court and Obtain injunction against the Co-operative society and that politically backedup person adding them as parties
