Criminal liability

Antoinette and dave decided to play a practical joke on their classmate, ariana. One night during a blackout, they tied black thread across the bathroom door while ariana was taking a shower. ariana came out of the bathroom holding her clothes in one hand and balancing a saucer with a candle in the other hand. She stumbled when her legs got entangled with the thread, and she fell. The clothes caught fire from the candle, and she suffered severe burns.
