Denial by station-in-charge to investigate further
Hello, I gave an amount to a person who claims to run NGO which provides old/new computers to schools. He never reverted back to me after receiving the amount. So, I registered a Police complaint. The station-in-charge called both of us and listened to both sides of the story. He told station-in-charge that he did give computers to a school as promised to me. He submitted the documents too. But, I was shocked when station-in-charge told me that the Police won't crosscheck if the documents are legitimate or not. He simply denied my request to crosscheck those documents and said that Police were done with it. Is he correct? If yes, where should I complain to check authenticity of these documents? If no, can I complain to Police commissioner against station-in-charge for misleading me? Note : Station-in-charge did agree to provide me a copy of those documents. He asked me to submit a written request to receive the same. Thanks, Sandeep
