Doubt in Laws related to Online Blackmailing
I am a law student and want to know that in which of the following situations, Blackmailing is legal and in which it is illegal: 1) If I saw someone selling drugs (or any other illegal activity), then is it illegal if I tell him/her to give me some money, otherwise I will report it to the police? 2) If someone sent me his/her private pics, then is it illegal if I tell him/her to give me some money otherwise I will make it viral? 3) Suppose I am a hacker who lives in India and I hacked someone's phone who lives in China. I got something by which he/she can be blackmailed. India and China don't have an extradition treaty. Will anything happen if I blackmail that person?
