How can I defend myself against false case?

I had filed a case of assault on me, the accused using their political and financial influence in the police station filed a false case against me without looking at the caste certificate of a non-SC and ST person and without conducting an inquiry before filing a case of caste abuse, there is no evidence of caste confirmation of the plaintiff in the court. The trial is not going on.
