To take legal action against job fraud, start by filing a complaint at your nearest police station and report the incident, providing details about Jahid Ali and the total amount paid (₹63,950). Since you have evidence from online transactions, this will strengthen your case. You can also report the fraud on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call their helpline at 1930. Additionally, consider approaching a Consumer Forum for compensation related to your financial losses. Consulting a lawyer can provide tailored advice on pursuing civil or criminal action. Lastly, preserve all evidence, including communication records and transaction details, as they will be crucial in any legal proceedings.
